| ◎◎“山外青山楼外楼，西湖歌舞几时休”，南宋时期的杭州是四方辐凑、万物所聚的著名大都市。这一天，位于凤凰山麓的南宋皇宫内正在举行宋皇寿宴，各种歌舞、杂技此起彼伏，笙歌管弦，热闹非凡，一派国泰民安，歌舞升平的景象。 |
| Scene 1《Palace Dancing》 |
| Hangzhou at Southern Song Dynasty was a prosperous
metropolis, for it enjoyed a high level of economic position. That
day, the Emperor’s birthday party was being held in the palace.
The party was going on in full blast with songs, dances and acrobatics
that provided a magnificent spectacle. |

| 第二场《金戈铁马》 |
| ◎◎公元1127年正月，金兵攻入汴京，俘徽钦二帝，史称“靖康之难”，宋氏被迫南渡。宋徽宗的第九儿子康王赵构，史称宋高宗建立南宋王朝，最后定都杭州。宋高宗继位后，推行了一条屈从金国的投降政策。从此黄河两岸、江淮之间的人民纷纷起兵反抗，掀起了波澜壮阔的民族战争的巨浪。岳飞就是这时涌现出来的民族英雄。岳飞一生曾四次从军，一直奋战沙场，精忠报国，他率领的岳家军身经百战，收复了建康和中原的大片土地，直抵汴京！ |
| Scene 2《Shining Spears and Armored Horses》 |
| In January 1127, the disaster of Jingkang happened
that Jin Army invaded in Bianjing. As a result, the capital city
was transferred to Hangzhou and a new dynasty which named Southern
Song Dynasty was built. From then on, famous General Yue Fei led
his army against northern Jin invaders, and recaptured a great deal
of lost land. |

| 第三场《美丽的西子、美丽的传说》 |
| ◎◎“江南好，风景旧曾谙。日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝，能不忆江南！” 荷花仙子舞翩跹、断桥相会、梁祝化蝶……这是一幅幅流动的画面，这是一首首动人的歌，
这是一个个美丽的传说……“欲把西湖比西子，淡妆浓抹总相宜”，忆江南，最忆是杭州！ |
| Scene 3《Beautiful West Lake and Legends》 |
| West Lake is a romantic place where many beautiful
legends take place. There is a love story about White Snake and
her lover Xu Xian. And another is a Chinese “Romeo and Juliet” story
that the butterfly lovers Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai died for
love. Hangzhou and West Lake are often remembered by many poets
and artists for drawing inspiration. |
